The designations that are accepted for a CounsellingBC.com directory listing are

  1. Registered Psychologist (R.Psych.)
  2. Registered Psychological Associate (R.Psych.Assoc.)
  3. Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC)
  4. Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
  5. Registered Social Worker (RSW)
  6. Registered Clinical Social Worker (RSCW)
  7. Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT)
  8. Registered British Columbia Art Therapist (BCATR)

Please note that (at this point in time) these are the designations for the site. Should a College of Counselling Therapists come into existence under the Health Professions Act (HPA) the site may develop new requirements.
