It seems to me that underlying any specific problem, people tend to grapple with four basic issues: how to be 'nobody-but-yourself', how to love and get along with others, how to enjoy life and how to be self-aware. My approach focuses on paying attention together to whatever is stressful, problematic, and painful in your life. Inquiring into those difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours can give way to discoveries and unexpected possibilities for more satisfying and authentic living. 

I provide psychotherapy and counselling to individuals, couples, families and groups for a wide variety of concerns. These include depression, loneliness and isolation, abuse, trauma, destructive habit patterns, stress, relationship glitches, grief and loss, and exploring choices at the crossroads. My aim is to offer an alliance that facilitates moving out of confusion and toward clarity and change.

I am registered provincially with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, and nationally with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
