Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

During his 15 years of training and experience, Terry has helped many clients with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, marital/relationship difficulties, grief/loss, and stress. In addition to his work with individuals, he offers marriage counseling, and has extensive group therapy experience ranging from groups for children of divorce, to personal growth for adults, and relapse prevention for men on parole. He also performs psychological assessements for diagnostic and medical-legal purposes.

As a therapist, Terry is dedicated to providing a confidential and respectful environment for exploring and resolving personal concerns. His main approach is what most would refer to as "talk therapy:" in-depth exploration of what the client wishes to bring to the session. However, because each individual's needs differ, he offers a variety of short-term and long-term treatment types, for individuals, couples, and groups. Among these, Terry can incorporate techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (for trauma/PTSD), and Solution-Focused therapy.
