The effects and symptoms of trauma can be debilitating and very difficult to manage; they can also limit our lives by affecting our beliefs, self esteem, motivation, and relationships. Anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, addictions, difficult relationships, and feeling stuck can all be rooted in trauma.

Scarlet Tate’s focus is in working with individuals to resolve the effects of trauma in a supportive and strength based environment that utilizes EMDR. Walking and outdoor sessions are offered to empower your healing journey and provide connection physically and spiritually.

Scarlet Tate is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in private practice with an office in central Nanaimo, BC. She completed her MA in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University and has a background in wilderness therapy and outdoor education.
