Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

Sally is a therapist and educator who is interested in the process of change; individual, relational and social. Her work is dynamic and forward moving. As everyone is unique, Sally works with each person to determine what they want, the best way to get there, and how to deal with barriers that might arise along the way. This can happen by moving through limiting beliefs, feelings and behaviours, enhancing present strengths and developing new skills, and/or working through the impact of trauma. Sally is trained in a number of methods that can help people reach their goals including EMDR, FOCUSING, Solution Oriented practices, and couples counselling.

Sally has worked with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual individuals and couples for the past 15 years in a variety of settings including Family Services of Greater Vancouver, as a therapist, Vancouver Community College, as an instructor, and in her own private practice. She currently works part-time in Vancouver and part-time in the Nelson area.
