Sherry is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#2370) with extensive experience working with children, youth, individuals, couples and families in strengthening relationships, grief/loss, adjusting to life transtitions, and developing healthier coping strategies.

Sherry's approach involves creating a safe, caring and non-judgmental environment for clients to share their stories of hopefulness and desired change. Past clients have addressed childhood sexual abuse, sexual anxiety, hypertension, panic disorders, marital conflict, self-esteem, anger/stress management and parent-teen conflict.

In her work with individuals, Sherry has helped clients to identify and reframe self defeating beliefs through self-empowerment. In couples therapy, Sherry has helped partners to identify underlying themes of hurt, anger and unmet expectations while strengthening communication and emotional intimacy.

Many of Sherry's clients' have appreciated her mindul practice, empathy and solution-oriented approach to counselling.

Additionally, Sherry offers a free 30 minute consultation to new clients to ensure client-therapist compatability.
