Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

Shelley is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who blends perspectives of inclusiveness, feminism, social justice and spirituality into her counselling practice. Shelley is trained in a variety of clinical methods and takes an eclectic approach when working with clients, focusing therapy in respectful and collaborative ways.

Shelley likes to work with clients toward demystifying some of the more persistent problems that stand in the way of waking up each day and feeling happy and hopeful about life. Each of us can learn to meet the challenges presented to us in this life with confidence and competence, knowing that we have done our best.  As our lives change, and as we adapt to these changes, Shelley believes that it is this sense of knowing that we are doing our best that often falters and needs restoring.

Shelley enjoys working with both individuals and couples who are looking to make healthy, restorative changes in their lives.
