Peggy is the founder of Mountain Counselling & Mediation, and has provided counselling in Abbotsford and Chilliwack for over 10 years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from UBC. Peggy also has completed specialized training in Trauma counselling and Marriage/Couples counselling, and is a Level 2 practitioner of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

With compassion and sensitivity, Peggy provides counselling to adults and teens, and treats a wide range of emotional and relationship issues. Drawing from established therapeutic approaches, she adapts therapy to meet the individual needs of her clients. Peggy’s approach is respectful and collaborative as she honours each individual’s voice and life experience.

Peggy believes that when interpersonal wounds contribute to suffering, a safe and caring therapeutic relationship can be instrumental in one’s healing process. This belief is grounded in her extensive experience working with clients who have experienced abuse, neglect or other trauma.
