Dr. Smith is a Registered Psychologist (CPBC #1454) in private
practice. Her areas of expertise are:

1. Psychoeducational Assessments for children and adolescents.
Assessments are helpful in clarifying and addressing issues such as
learning difficulties, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder,
giftedness, and developmental delays. 
2. Interventions for a range of child, teen and parenting issues.
3. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for adolescents and adults. “CBT” is known to be the most effective approach for managing issues such as anxiety and depression.

Dr. Smith strives to provide a warm, friendly, and helpful environment. Her approach is goal-directed and draws on research-proven techniques. She has been a Registered Psychologist since 1994 and is actively involved in continuing education opportunities. She is affiliated with Simon Fraser University as a Clinical Associate in the Department of Psychology.
