Marita Poll is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She provides counselling both in private practice, and for people diagnosed with cancer (plus friends and family). Marita has worked in the helping profession, in a variety of areas and organizations, since 1988.

Marita uses a holistic approach, working with emotions, body, mind and spirituality to assist people with overcoming difficulties, creating change, and fostering personal growth.

Marita is experienced in working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss (e.g., death of a spouse, family, friends, pets, suicide), stress management and burnout for professional and family caregivers, self-esteem, assertiveness, impact of health issues (e.g., cancer, HIV/AIDS), life transitions (e.g., divorce, retirement) relationship/communication difficulties, and life review.
