Mary Longworth has been in private practice (Delta Counselling) in the South Delta/Tsawwassen/Ladner region since receiving her M.Sc. in marital,family and child counselling in 1995.

Mary is a registered clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Her practice primarily consists of working with couples, families and individuals helping them to achieve the goals that they bring to counselling.

The approaches that she uses in her work include cognitive-behavioural therapy, solution-focused, systemic and eclectic with a Rogerian underpinning.

The areas that she specializes in are pre-marital, couples or relationship therapy, divorce and separation, pre and post-divorce play therapy, depression, anxiety disorders, assertiveness, anger, and grief and loss including pet-loss. A free pet-loss support group is available numerous times during the year.

She is available for appointments on most weekday evenings and Saturdays.
