Lisa McLellan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor possessing a MA in Counselling Psychology, recieved from City University. Lisa has worked in the human services sector for 19 years in numerous capacities including: working with adolescents and street youth, working with individuals and families in crisis, presenting to varied community groups on issues of parenting, youth concerns, substance misuse and prevention, and working with individuals, families and groups addressing issues related to seperation and divorce, substance misuse, trauma, transitional concerns, grief and loss, depression and anxiety.

Lisa uses a client-centered humanistic approach in her counselling drawing from the theories of the schools of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, narrative and existential therapies.

Client safety and professional ethics are of primary importance to Lisa in the counselling relationship and she particpates in ongoing professional development as she continually works to ensure that her client's experiences of counselling are beneficial, positive,and safe.
