Leanne is a Masters-level Registered Clinical Counsellor with an office in the Vancouver area. Leanne works from the belief that we all experience challenging life situations, bringing us difficult thoughts and feelings – or absence of feelings. She understands that often we are able to use our internal resources (self, spirit, problem-solving) and external resources (community, family, friends) to deal with these situations on our own. Other times, we need a little more.

Leanne has worked compassionately with adults, teens, children and families to move forward from life’s difficult times. Some of the concerns Leanne has helped clients manage include moving through life transitions, building parent-child relationships, coping with grief and loss, overcoming depression, exploring creativity/spirituality and healing from the impact of traumatic events, abuse, or domestic violence.

Fostering a warm and soothing environment, she uses her training/experience in talk, experiential, and expressive art therapy methods (sandtray, art, play, drama, music) to encourage clients to
