Kim Roth is a clinical associate of The Shanti Counselling Centre in Burnaby, BC. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from UBC and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Kim has a wide array of counselling experience, but her extensive work has focused on addictions, spirituality, sexuality, personal growth, and relational distress in couples and families.

In addition to her clinical work, Kim teaches counselling-related university courses and presents community workshops. She is also a yoga teacher, which contributes to a blending of Eastern and Western schools of thought into her counselling practice.

Kim's therapeutic style is client-centered, infused with mindfulness and body-centered psychotherapy. She places emphasis on self-awareness and self-acceptance for those people she sees in counseling and also offers an inquisitive and non-judgmental presence.
