Dr. Roche is a Registered Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist working to find solutions for academic, workplace and family success for children, young adults and their parents with a variety of problems including high functioning autism, Asperger Syndrome, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), nonverbal learning disorders (NLD), learning disorders and disorders of social cognition. Additionally he provides counselling services for individuals, couples and families addressing anger management, stress, depression and relational issues.

Dr. Roche holds an advanced certificate in cognitive therapy for the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. He also holds a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, a masters degree in marriage and family therapy, has completed post doctoral work in neuropsychology and educational psychology and holds a doctoral degree in law (JD) with a focus in educational and family law from The School of Law of the City University of New York. He has held academic appointments at New York University Medical Center (Department of Psychiatry, Clinical Instructor), NYU, Brooklyn Colelge and Norwich University. He has also served as the government's expert witness in numerous criminal and civil cases. Currently he is a psychological consultant to the Department of Defense, works as the behaviour management specialist for lower mainland school districts and maintains a small private practice focusing on clinical and neuro-developmental psychology. He is registered and licensed in several jurisdictions as a Psychologist, Family Therapist and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is a member of the BC Mediator's Roster.
