Jane has practiced art psychotherapy for over 15 years, with individuals, families and groups, both privately and with leading local agencies. Art therapy supplies a soothing nonverbal process that evokes creativity, to lead you to what Jungian analyst James Hollis calls “the unlived life that summons you“. Through a deep internal link to feelings and perceptions, the symbolic representations created in art therapy provide a tangible connection to inner journeying, personal growth and transformation. Art ability is not required, and it’s suitable for adults as well as children.

Given a safe respectful space to explore options gently, with collaborative support and effective resources, Jane believes her clients have the innate ability to make sense of their life, and access the change they seek.

Areas of practice include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, separation and divorce, trauma, phobias, substance abuse recovery, family problems, domestic violence, self esteem, and chronic pain. I am a Registered Art Therapist. Approved by Crime Victim Assistance and Veterans Affairs.
