Dr. Browning has been a registered psychologist in the Vancouver area since 1980. He has worked extensively in the areas of mental health, family violence and employee assistance. Dr. Browning takes a practical approach to helping people solve problems in living. Using primarily a cognitive behavioural approach, augmented by other techniques and a warm sense of humour, he provides the support and skill development necessary for effective change.

Dr. Browning has particular experience in working with depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, workplace issues and relationship concerns. Approximately two thirds of his clients are men. He likes working with people from all walks of life and tends to use plain language, rather than jargon, in his counseling work.

Dr. Browning is able to provide psychological assessments for employees who are on a workplace disability. His experience in managing a major employee assistance program gives him the knowledge to facilitate the rehabilitation process.
