Hilary Mackey is a body worker and and a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has been in private practice for 17 years and practices Body Psychotherapy. She has been certified as a Rosen Method Bodyworker for many years. Hilary's devotion to the body/mind connection has led her to study a wide variety of touch, sound, movement, artistic an energy centered therapies, as well as counselling approaches.

From her rich experiential background she has developed a unique therapeutic approach that she now teaches. Her work uses focused touch and verbal components, designed to stimulate body and emotional awareness. She has developed expertise in working with fellow professionals who value learning more about the body in the therapeutic process. Her methods include repair of early attachment wounds, and supporting clients to heal from stress, burnout and vicarious traumatization injuries. She is committed to wholistic healing methods, meditation and a spiritual approach in her personal and professional life.
