Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

Dr. Ellen Domm has been a resident of Canada since 1998, and has been in practice since 1986. Recovered herself, she has extensive expertise in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as the treatment of anxiety, depression, and adjustment problems such as relationship, family, and career issues. She divides her professional life between her private practice and teaching at Capilano College.

As a therapist, Dr. Domm believes that while it is important to understand how a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours came to be problematic, it is equally important to develop skills and strategies for stress management and effective problem solving in the present and future. To this end, Dr. Domm primarily uses a cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment, and tailors a therapeutic program to meet the needs of each individual she works with.

Dr. Domm offers 50% off of the first appointment.
