Don Macdonald, M.A., M.Ed., is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with an office in West Vancouver. He is a husband and father of three adult children. He has worked as a social worker in northern B.C., as an elementary and secondary school teacher and Principal in Burnaby and as an instructor/coordinator in the N.I.T.E.P. program at U.B.C.

Most recently, Don has worked as a counsellor for Cameray Child and Family Services in Burnaby. He has been counselling professionally since 2004. His counselling practice focuses on restoring relationships, especially wilthin the family and with couples.

Don believes that when parents and their children are in right relationships then parents are in a position to parent and children are in a position to be parented. Regarding couples, Don focusses on restoring the relationship. Don has studied and applies attachment theory in his practice. He is currently in the process of being certified as a Neufeld Video-Course facilitator.
