I  have three main focus areas: Dragonfly Counselling Services: Stress and Anxiety including Post traumatic stress disorder;  partner sites (links on the Dragonfly site)  Raven Work Health and Career Consulting focuses on career, vocational rehabilitation, and workpace issues; and Hall Professional Development Services focuses on professional services for helping professionals.

I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor, Masters Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) and doctoral Psy.D student. My MA is from the Adler School of Professional Psychology Vancouver and Chicago and I have a BA in Communications from SFU. In adddition I have training in Intergenerational family therapy, narrative therapy addictions counselling and brief therapies.. My varied background includes 29 years of counselling experience in private practice, the addictions field with families and youth, employment and vocational rehabilitation counselling, training in the field and family life education administration.

My most recent experience is working with HIV/AIDS and gay, lesbian and transgendered clients at the Dr. Peter Centre, a therapeutic community. In addition I was an adjunct faculty member with the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Vancouver teaching career counselling and addictive disorders.

My approach is an integrative one that is individually developed to suit you as a client. I use both traditional counselling approaches as well as clinical hypnosis, solution-focused, expressive arts therapies and energy pyschology. I create a safe and nurturing environment where you can find support and heal from life challenges or traumas. I believe that change is a creative process and working with you will help you locate your own answers. When clients are empowered they become "directors" of their lives. The techniques I use accelerate change making counselling more affordable and quicker so you can get on with your life.

In choosing me as your therapist you will have a counsellor who is experienced, compassionate and versatile. I offer free 30 minute consultations either by phone or in person. Also most extended health plans cover my services.

My training includes Reiki (Master level) and I offer Reiki sessions and training. I also am a creative writer and am planning on publishing a book of poetry. I am cat lover and my home is in Vancouver, BC.
