Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

Dianne Gilmour's special areas of interest and expertise are in supporting couples as they face challenges in their relationship and providing pragmatic communication tools and strategies for families coping with parent-teen conflict. She recognizes that the quality of our relationships with others and ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives and that the key is effective communication within those relationships. This communication requires constant attention and if neglected it almost always results in, at best, minor misunderstandings or, at worst, an inability to continue in the relationship.

At the Gilmour Group the client will be provided with opportunities to recognize and name unhelpful communication patterns and learn new practical tools and strategies for healthier, happier relationships. This process is always guided with honest, humour, respect and hope.
