Donna holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of British Columbia and is continuously up-grading her counselling skills through workshops and courses. She studies with the Satir Institute of the Pacific to enhance her clinical counselling skills. In addition to these credentials, Donna is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.

Over the years she has worked with different age groups and with people with a variety of life challenges. She has special expertise in the areas of grief and loss, depression, life transitions and stress management. She is also an authorized counsellor for the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program.

Donna is a very warm and compassionate individual who believes in the importance of providing a non-judgmental environment to discuss therapeutic issues. She values a holistic, strengths-based approach to counselling and believes in the importance of looking at biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual factors that play into life problems. This approach necessarily involves recognizing that each person’s journey is unique.
