Claire Sutton helps people who feel stuck. She helps people who are angry and overwhelmed. She helps people who are afraid of change, afraid of making the wrong decision and afraid that they might not be good enough.  She helps couples communicate clearly to one another, re-connect and parent effectively. She helps people understand and manage their anger, address their depression and face their anxiety. 

She helps people navigate life transitions such as  divorce, death, relocation, career change or job loss. No matter what the problem, Claire helps people step into their confidence, set desired goals and begin taking the necessary steps to live happier.

Claire sees clients from different backgrounds. Many of her clients are professionals and / or adult children of  professionals. Issues including perfectionism and unrealistic expectations in these families can be left unresolved for generations.

Claire is a solution-focused therapist and is skilled in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).  She is also skilled at addressing human behaviour in the workplace.  She helps many of her clients address and resolve  workplace issues.

Claire has a graduate degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. She is trained as a Collaborative Separation and Divorce Coach. She is also a trained cybercounsellor ( for online counselling).

Claire’s warm professional demeanor puts her clients at ease as she helps them get to the heart of their issue. With new insight, clients leave with hope and optimism to change for the better.
