Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

The cornerstone of Cathy’s counselling philosophy is that each client is unique, and it is the therapist’s job to understand the particular circumstances or issues that are problematic for each person. Not every individual with depression, for instance, wants, or will benefit from, the same treatment approach. Cathy works collaboratively with clients to draw on their strengths and resources in order to enhance the quality of their lives. For 17 years she has worked with a variety of people dealing with various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and eating disorders. She particularly enjoys the challenge of working with couples, whether they are looking to enhance a mainly good relationship, or are making decisions about whether their relationship can last.

Fees for a 55 minute session are $140 and may be covered through a third-party, (e.g. WCB, ICBC, CVAP) or your extended health plan. Reduced fees may be offered to students and others in financial need, although there is generally a wait-list for this service.
