Bonnie Mason has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Bonnie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor ( #1337) with B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. Bonnie has also trained for an additional 9 years to become a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist, (#86588). Bonnie is a member of B.C. Play Therapy Association, Satir Institute of the Pacific and the Adlerian Association of B.C.

Bonnie has 21 years experience working with families, youth and children. She has been in private practice in White Rock for the last 9 years. Prior to her private practice she was the director and senior counsellor of a very successful youth & family counselling agency for 11 years. This agency was recognized throughout the province for the work done with families.

Bonnie is also trained in Sexual Abuse (adult & children) Trauma Therapy, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Satir Systemic Brief Therapy Level 1 & 11 and the advance training program. She is trained in (EMDR), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Level 1 & 11. Bonnie is also trained and has 12 years experience in Play Therapy for children ages 4 to 12. Bonnie is an instructor/supervisor at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

The practice includes: Families,Children,Teens, Adults, Couples and Individual Counselling. Bonnie provides counselling for life changes such as separation or divorce, depression, and anxiety, grief/loss, parent/teen or child relationship challenges and Trauma. A comfortable session room with a separate art/play therapy room is available. Her approach to therapy is one of respect and collaboration in setting therapeutic goals and reaching them with her clients.

Bonnie strives to maintain the highest level of professional integrity and continues to train and be committed to clinical supervision with an Approved Marriage and Family Supervisor. As a Marriage & Family Therapist her focus is to recognize the value and importance of all relationships.
