Brenna King has an MA and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has worked for many years in agency settings as well as in private practice, in the fields of addictions and trauma recovery. In addition to these areas, she has assisted clients with life transitions, eating disorders,body image and grief and loss issues.

Brenna incorporates an eclectic range of approaches within her work with clients. Since she values the importance of working collaboratively with her clients, her approach varies depending on her clients’ individual goals and presenting issues. Brenna utilizes psychodynamic, body centred, feminist, and experiential approaches. She also utilizes EMDR for which she has advanced training. Brenna utilizes these approaches within a framework which is respectful, holistic and empowering. She provides an environment within which clients can deepen their self-awareness, access inner strengths and wisdom, and realign their health and life purpose.
