As such, she addresses a wide range of problems including post-traumatic stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions, and eating disorders. She draws upon a number of methods in her focused, caring, and respectful approach with clients. These may include EMDR, Imaginal Nurturing, brief therapy, and art therapy.

April’s Master's degree is from the College of Family and Consumer Studies, University of Guelph.
