Allison Bates is a psychotherapist working from a solution-focused, and cognitive behavioural approach. Her primary focus is in helping people to overcome difficulties in their lives by assessing obstacles and devising strategies to overcome these barriers to positive change.

Allison also enjoys working with adolescents in their life transition from child to adult and all the discomforts that brings, such as dealing with body image, eating disorders, bullying and addictions.

Allison has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and so is held to strict ethical and professional standards of practice. Allison has offices in two locations: in Burnaby/Coquitlam at Loughheed and North Road, as well as in Vancouver at Burrard and Hastings in order for your sessions to be flexible and convenient.
