Tania counsels individuals, children and couples on issues such as trauma, abuse, relationships, LGBTQ, fertility and pregnancy, women's concerns and anxiety and stress.

Tania practices from a holistic perspective, which includes a feminist and creative approach, and is client focused. She is trained in advanced EMDR and is a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS).

You can expect confidential, professional and ethical services that puts you first and empowers you to make your own decisions based on your own values.

When working on relationship issues with Tania you may feel validated and understood and empowered to live "more fully." Dynamics in same-sex relationships are explored with a unique lens including an anti-oppressive practice philosophy.

Fertility and pregnancy issues require an unique understanding that doesn't lose focus of who you are as an individual and in relationship to your body and/or partner. Processing events or planning ahead can help address underlying feelings which is important as a single parent, as a supportive partner and as an individual or couple. LGBTQ individuals encounter unique challenges and joys with fertility and pre--post pregnancy issues. Receiving support while exploring these issues can also enhance your ability to make decisions and stay connected to your self and/or partner.

Counselling can help sort out mixed feelings, name the crazy making stuff, build healthy relationships, increase self worth / esteem, grow professionally and reduce anxiety and the effects of trauma.

Tania has facilitated numerous workshops and groups on stress / wellness, abuse, healthy same-sex relationships, vicarious trauma and critical incident debriefings locally and internationally. She has been registered since 1995 working primarily in non-profit agencies and health facilities and in private practice since 2002.
