Tabasom Eblaghie has her Masters in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has received her advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Hypnosis, Narrative Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

She provides counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups. She is a trained facilitator of the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) and Respectful, Responsible Parenting programs, and has run many parenting groups in the Lower Mainland. She has also facilitated psycho-educational groups on depression, anxiety, & grief and loss.

The modalities used in therapy sessions include Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Narrative, Adlerian, EMDR, Hypnosis, EFT, metaphor, and solution-focused therapy. In her opinion, counselling provides a space and opportunity to explore behaviour, relationships, feelings, or thoughts, which trouble you and cause difficulty in your life. Counselling is a legitimate source of support in a crisis, or during a difficult time. It can bring deeper personal insight and awareness, better ways of understanding and coping with problems, and improved relationships.
