Dr. Susan Hunt, Registered Psychologist, provides individual therapy/counselling and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults, and family therapy for adults and children. She has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Seattle. She also has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of B.C. (#1947).
Dr. Hunt works with individuals (children, adolescents, adults, and families) who are experiencing difficulties with:

Dr. Hunt also conducts psychoeducational assessments, which provide information about an individual’s learning, strengths and weaknesses, and are useful for planning interventions at home and school. They include tests of intelligence and related abilities, academic achievement (reading, writing, math), and where indicated, tests of personality, behaviour, attention, or adaptive functioning. The results help identify giftedness, learning disorders, and/or cognitive disabilities. Psychoeducational assessments are also used in the identification of ADHD and other developmental disorders.
Dr. Hunt uses several treatment modalities that are drawn from several different theoretical approaches. Her approach is flexible and tailored to each individual’s presenting problems, goals, and needs. She uses various approaches, for example, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused, family systems, and expressive therapies (art & play therapy) for children and adolescents.
