I am  a Registered Psychologist with the B.C. College of Psychologists and a member of the B.C. Psychological and Canadian Psychological Associations.

After receiving my M.A. and Ph.D. from UBC, I created strong relationships to community professional organizations; I served as President of the Western Canadian Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Association and currently sit on the Board; I am a supervising instructor for the Counselling Psychology program at UBC; an oral examiner and supervisor for the BCPA; developer, instructor and mentor for a SFU graduate diploma program focussing on cross cultural issues; and I also work with a number of employee assistance programs.

In these capacities, I present workshops on issues such as life transitions, cultural adjustment, and stress management. Working in the private and public sector for over 15 years, my private practice includes such areas as anxiety, PTSD, trauma, depression, self esteem, martial/relationship and family issues, and cross-cultural issues.

I use a number of approaches to best suit the needs of clients maintaining a focus on the whole person. I provide both short and long term therapy.
