Dr. Michael de Jong is a Registered Psychologist (1529) who has been practicing in the Burnaby area for the past ten year. He uses cognitive-behavioural techniques, psychotherapy and biofeedback to treat a range of psychological and physiological complaints.

He recognizes that many clients have been struggling with the same underlying problems for years and works with them to develop new, workable patterns of thought and behaviour.  Dr. de Jong uses a variety of treatment approaches to assist clients in resolving their difficulties including ACT therapy, behavioural-psychotherapy; home exercises and the use of take-home electronic devices and biofeedback. The focus of his therapy is on making the client's life full, rich and meaningful. His office is conveniently located in the Greater Vancouver area and is close to hwy #1, skytrain and bus routes.

He treats a variety of psychological difficulties such as depression and mood problems, anxiety disorders including PTSD, chronic pain, anger management, head injuries, headaches and migraines, sleep problems and career issues. In helping children, adolescents and adults with ADD, ADHD he uses neurofeedback and biofeedback as the treatment modality.  Using innovative behavioural techniques and, when required, biofeedback, he can help shift you out of the patterns that have been creating difficulties with your life.
