Dr. Lyne Piché is a Registered Psychologist working in both Vancouver and Abbotsford, BC. Her services are offered in both French and English.
She has many years experience working with people who have sexual difficulties, sexual concerns and relationship struggles. Her practice is focused on addressing sexual issues which can include sexual dysfunctions (e.g. problems with erection, ejaculation or orgasm), low sexual desire as well as sexual preoccupation (also known as sexual addiction). Dr. Piché works with both individuals and couples in order to address concerns involving intimacy, sexuality and relationships.
Some people struggle with specific problems as they relate to sexual functioning (for example, achieving orgasm, erectile difficulties, ejaculation difficulties or pain during intercourse). Others struggle with being preoccupied by sexual thoughts, engage in too many sexual behaviors, watch too much pornography or engage in risky sexual behaviors. This is sometimes referred to in the media as sexual addiction. Being preoccupied with sexuality can lead to difficulties within your relationships, employment and can eventually lead to problems with the law.
Other people struggle with establishing, maintaining or ending relationships. At times, they find it difficult to really connect and be close with others. Others struggle with sexual identity, sexual preferences or sexual orientation which are all important issues. Finally, it may be that general life problems are most problematic.
As every person is unique, please contact Dr. Lyne Piché to discuss your own personal concerns and difficulties.
Additional services include Forensic assessment and treatment services. These include providing Court-ordered assessments as well as Court-ordered treatment targeting a particular concern (for example, violence, drug use, alcohol abuse, sex problems).
Dr. Lyne Piché is a Registered Psychologist. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (#01467) and the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (#08391-98).
She is dedicated to helping you find a solution to your problems and to help you increase your satisfaction within your life, within your relationships and within yourself.
