I have worked over 20 years in the area of supporting individuals, children and families. My work has focused on the areas of grief and loss, health issues, personal growth, life transitions as well as families, couples and relationship issues. I have completed special training in EMDR to assist in working with those individuals who have experienced trauma. I have a special interest in working with the prevention and treatment of vicarious trauma in professionals working within health care and other organizations. My goal in working with clients is to provide support to them where they are. In using my approach I work to assist clients as they work to achieve the changes and movement in their lives they are seeking and to address the issues that brought them into counselling.
