I have worked with children, youth and families for over 15 years. Most of this time has been spent in the non-profit sector and at a community Mental Health Centre. I have worked with clients experiencing issues with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, behavioural concerns, troubles with peers, sexual exploitation and the misuse of substances, gaming and the Internet. I have also worked closely with parents of young clients, coaching them from an attachment perspective.

I am known for my ability to build easy rapport, developing a trusting and supportive relationship with clients.We work as a team, starting from the place where you are at. I use an eclectic approach, utilizing counselling techniques that are a good "fit" for you. Some people are comfortable with talk therapy, others appreciate the use of expressive approaches such as therapeutic games and art activities. We will find a fit for you that works for achieving your goals.
