Dr. Jennifer Rodrigues is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with extensive experience in the treatment of a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences as well as relational concerns, grief and loss, workplace conflicts, and personal transformation.

Trained in Mindfulness practices, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as brief therapies, she integrates focused counselling interventions appropriate to each person. She worked for 14 years as a counsellor and clinical supervisor at UBC before focussing on private practice. Through ongoing training, she maintains her commitment to using effective therapeutic practices informed by research.

Author of a book on Mindfulness based Counselling and a Buddhist meditation practitioner, she has expertise in integrating mindfulness-based practices in psychotherapy.

A skilled and insightful therapist, Jennifer has an open and accessible style, is clear, direct and gentle. Her philosophy is to work collaboratively to help individuals and couples break free of negative habitual patterns and develop a fresh perspective on issues.
