Jason believes strongly in working collaboratively with clients.  He does not believe it is his job to "fix" his clients but to help them access their own resources.  Working in a caring and supportive relationship with Jason will allow you the space to be yourself, explore yourself, and accept yourself.  That being said, most people come to therapy to change.  The therapy process is a balance between change and acceptance and Jason will help you navigate that balancing act. Jason helps clients to come to terms with what it means to be them as well as what it means to be human.  We are all struggling with aspects of being human that we cannot escape - this reality is the groundwork from where Jason practices psychotherapy.

Jason's work with couples is similar.  His emphasis on helping couples to accept one another and authentically engage has been helpful to his clients. Many couples are stuck in a dance they find difficult to stop.  Jason works with clients to stop, or change, the dance they are in.  He also works to help couples meet one another's needs more thoughtfully and authentically.
