Joanne Drummond is a marriage and family therapist who works with individuals, couples and families. She holds a Masters Degree in Counselling and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Joanne draws on a number of theories in her work with clients including Solution Focussed, Family Systems, and Narrative therapies. She believes in helping clients find, and draw on, their unique inner strengths.

Joanne has experience helping families with children who have special needs. Joanne understands the challenges of parenting a special needs child through direct personal experience. She supports special needs children and their parents and siblings. Joanne counsels couples where one or both partners have developmental disabilities.

Joanne has clinical experience in private practice and in school and mental health settings. She has experience with relationship issues, couples, parenting, parent - teen mediation and parenting children with special needs as well as depression and self-esteem issues. She has been married for 23 years and has two teenage children.
