Eileen is a Registered Clinical Social Worker, and a member of the BC College of Social Workers. She gladly sees individual clients, but the primary focus of her practice is working with couples.  She works with couples from throughout the South Delta region, including Tsawwassen, Ladner and White Rock.

Eileen says, "I've seen hundreds of couples in my practice, and the issue that brings them to my office is rarely the 'real' problem.  I can help them gain a new perspective about a situation that they thought was impossible to change.  This often leads to a real breakthrough and a plan that both members of the couple can embrace."   Often, a couple can see an improvement in their relationship in just a few sessions. 

Her view is that the issues faced in any relationship may be common to many, but each couple is unique and special in their own way.  She uses a combination of coaching and solution-focused therapy to get to the core issue that stands in the way of improved trust, intimacy and committment. 

Eileen brings a diversity of experience to her work as a couple's therapist,.  She combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a solid "real-world" understanding.  Her perspective is informed by careers ranging from an officer in the Army, a sales professional for a Fortune 10 company,  and faciliating leadership training and executive coaching for a global financial services company.  She welcomes new clients, and offers hours in the evenings and weekends.
