Additional Information about this counsellor or psychologist:

I have worked as a counsellor for over twenty-five years and have been in private practice since 1993.

In the early 1980's, I was fortunate to join a team of dedicated individuals in the field of addictions on PEI, with a break in 1985 to complete a six month internship in residential treatment counselling at Caron Foundation in Pennsylvania. Both of these experiences deepened my appreciation of the power of the human spirit to recover, heal, and transform within a supportive and therapeutic environment.

In the latter part of the 1980's I moved to British Columbia and continued working in the field of addictions, first in the Fraser Valley and then in North Vancouver, for non-profit societies.  With experience in the field of addictions, counsellors learn a great deal about trauma, depression, anxiety, family dynamics, self-esteem, recovery, resilience, and hope.

In my private practice, I work in a safe and confidential environment, with people working through a range of issues depression to substance abuse, grief and loss to self-esteem.

I now have a new office in Chilliwack where I am available on Mondays and Fridays.

I am also in our office in Vancouver on Broadway near Burrard every Wednesday.
