Practice Information

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering virtual and in-person counselling for teens, adults, and young adults in Vancouver. I provide individual counselling for people navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and the impacts of difficult or painful experiences.

My practice is grounded in a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are, without pressure to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who may feel stuck in overthinking, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or uncertain about how to move forward.

I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, highly sensitive individuals, and people who have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or responsible for holding things together for others. Therapy can be a space to better understand patterns, process emotions, improve relationships, strengthen self-trust, and develop a more sustainable way of moving through life.

My work is informed by client-centred, body oriented, and strength based approaches. I have formal training in Dr Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry approach, Dr Sue Johnson's Emotion Focused Therapy and Dr Jon Kabbat-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I also practice using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Attachment, and Psychodynamic techniques. With all that said, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor counselling to each individual’s needs, personality, and goals. Some clients come to therapy looking for deeper emotional understanding and reflection, while others are hoping for practical support, coping tools, or help navigating a specific challenge.

Whether you are new to counselling or returning to therapy after time away, my goal is to provide a supportive and genuine environment where you can feel heard, understood, and more connected to yourself over time.

I offer a free consultation for individuals interested in exploring whether we may be a good fit to work together.
