Brenna King has an MA and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She has worked for many years in agency settings as well as in private practice, in the fields of addictions and trauma recovery. In addition to these areas, she has assisted clients in the areas of grief and loss, family of origin issues, depression and anxiety, dealing with a loved one's addiction, body image, mid-life transitions ,  and stress management.

Brenna incorporates an eclectic range of approaches in her work with clients. Since she values the importance of working collaboratively , her approach varies depending on her clients’ individual goals and presenting issues. Brenna utilizes psychodynamic, body centred and experiential approaches. She also utilizes EMDR  and PsychK for which she has advanced training. Brenna utilizes these approaches within a framework which is respectful, holistic and empowering. She  strives to provide a safe environment within which to gain  a deeper self awareness, and greater access to inner strenghts , wisdom, clarity and health.
