Anita is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#2262) with experience working with families, couples and individuals. Anita has worked as a therapist and group facilitator for over ten years dealing with such diverse issues as relationship distress, depression and anxiety, parent-teen conflict, self- development and life transitions.

Anita works to create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients which is an essential component for  starting the  journey  towards their desired goal. She works collaboratively with clients to create recognition and new understanding of their repetitive, maladaptive behaviours and life stories or lived expereinces. This in turn helps them make changes that are empowering, meaningful and healing. 

Proficient in both practical, solution focussed approaches as well as insight oriented, and experiential therapies Anita is able to work with a clients specific and diverse needs.

Anita offers an initial 15 minute phone consultation to answer questions and help the client define what they are looking for.  Counselling in Punjabi and Hindi is also available
